KJB Law Trust Account

We operate a trust account on behalf of our clients with the Commonwealth Bank. The signatories to this account are three of the principals of KJB Law: Andrew Freer, Des Moore and Jo Twible.

Our Trust Account is operated in accordance with the strict rules as set out in the Legal Profession Act 2006 (ACT) and is audited by the ACT Law Society on a regular basis.

Our Trust Account does not accrue interest. Legislation directs interest payable on solicitors’ trust accounts to the funding of community legal services, and as such if we are likely to hold significant funds for a period of time we will discuss with you the option of opening an interest bearing bank account on your behalf.
