Jay is Canberra-born and -bred, and he's got no intention of going anywhere else. In his words, Canberra is a “liveable, growing city with great people and plenty of quirks”.

He believes that family law matters don't always need to end up before the court, or wasted away through years of costly letters and emails being exchanged between solicitors.

Jay always endeavours to provide a cost-effective solution to his clients which has them out of the process and into their new start, with as little hassle and hurt as possible.

He has a practical outlook, and ensures that each client, and their unique personal situations, are afforded the care and attention they deserve.

Since Jay’s admission to practice in early 2021, he's developed proven skills as a solicitor in

the following areas:

• Application for divorce matters, including where a marriage occurred overseas/internationally;
• Financial or property-settlement matters, whether a multi-million-dollar pool with trusts and businesses or an average family home and a couple of cars (and/or the dog);
• Parenting matters, where agreement is either reached or can't be reached about care and time arrangements (which is the new way of saying “custody battles”);
• Binding financial agreements, binding child-support agreements, and parenting plans.

The list goes on—whether it be ad hoc one-off advice or a query about how to start the conversation about separation.
