Linda's experience and expertise
Linda holds a Bachelor of Arts, for which she majored in English literature, and a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the University of Wollongong.
After graduating and working in private practice for a short time, she worked part time as a tutor and lecturer in law at the University of Wollongong before taking some time off paid work to care for her four children.
From 2012 to 2022, Linda developed her expertise in wills and estates, helping families achieve peace of mind by working with them and their financial advisors to plan appropriately for the future.
Rather than spending her long-service leave holidaying on a tropical Island (like normal people), she chose to return to university in 2023 to complete a Master of Teaching degree before arranging a tree-change with her husband and youngest daughter to join the KJB team in 2025.
Her experience as an educator and lawyer means Linda has a unique skill set, enabling her to explain and provide effective solutions to complex situations.
Other interests
Having spent most of her life in salt water with sand between her toes, Linda is enjoying experiencing all that Canberra has to offer, including cycling to work, taking her border collie for bush walks, and sipping hot tea in warm knitted socks by the fire. She also likes to paint.
Her dog Belle is 6 years old and Linda used to walk her every morning on the beach, but these days it’s every weekend at Red Hill.
Linda also has four "amazing" kids. Here they all are at her son’s wedding.
Also, photos of Linda hiking in NSW and in New Zealand, at the red centre, and also skiing. "Anything that gets me outdoors is my happy place!" she says.
