Business Franchising

We act for both franchisees and franchisors. For franchisors we have advised in relation to the pre planning required to set up a franchise business, the drafting of the Franchise Disclosure document and the Franchise Agreement as well as securing IP rights including assisting in the registration of trademarks, patents and registered designs.

For franchisees we advise on the content and practical effect of the provisions contained in a Franchise Agreement and the information given in a Franchise Disclosure document.

Where necessary we have supported either franchisor or the franchisee in dealing with disputes at the level of mediation as well as litigation.
