We operate a trust account on behalf of our clients with the Commonwealth Bank. The signatories to this account are both of the principals of this firm, Allan Bedford and Andrew Freer;

The trust account is operated on strict rules as set out in the Legal Profession Act 2006 and is audited by the ACT Law Society on a regular basis;

The trust account does not accrue interest. Legislation directs interest payable on solicitors’ trust accounts to the funding of community legal services;

If we are likely to hold significant funds for a period of time we will discuss with you the option of opening an interest bearing account, which will usually be with the Suncorp Bank.
